Just a reminder to help out any of our farm and ranch readers: the Agricultural Foreign Investment Disclosure Act of 1978 requires foreign individuals or organizations to report any interest in agricultural land. Failure to report or report misleading or false information can result in a penalty of 25 percent of the land’s fair market value.
