Twinkling lights line roof lines and glow off soft blankets of snow. Families trek up mountain paths to find the perfect tree. Shoppers bustle to try to find fitting gifts to stow under the tree for their loved ones. When you’re a child, this season is all about the anticipation of receiving. As an adult, giving becomes the central objective. Thanksgiving reminds us all to be thankful for food on the table and the friends and family that gather around it. At Corder and Associates, we are grateful for our clients, their trust in us, and their business. From the startup of the company, we envisioned what we wanted our brand to portray. Our brand says we value the professional working relationship between client and associate. We value your business and will work hard to keep it. We are loyal to our community and have a heart for giving back.
In 2007, Corder and Associates launched our Give Back Program comprised of an annual scholarship opportunity and donations made to nonprofits. More specifically, each agent within the company donates a portion of their earnings each year and then chooses a nonprofit organization to contribute to. Many of the agents express fondness for this program and describe it as one of their favorite things. The Give Back Program allows us to share our blessings and draw our community together. Additionally, Corder and Associates offer several annual scholarships awards to graduating seniors that apply and are planning to attend postsecondary education. Part of our vision is to help see our youth succeed.
The story of the good Samaritan in the Bible encourages us to go forth and do likewise. The Samaritan’s Purse has a mission to follow that example by helping those in need and sharing the story and hope of the Gospel. Corder and Associates contribute to this amazing foundation by filling shoeboxes with toys, hygiene items, school supplies, and musical instruments. These boxes travel to the darkest corners of the world and bring hope. They bring children joy and a message about Christianity and what it means to follow Christ.
As a real estate company, we help clients buy and sell farms, ranches, or land. Some are purchasing land to build a home, a place for them to raise their kids and experience life together. What better way to connect with clients than to show what we feel called to do by enriching the communities we call home.
